Tim just started his UPT at Columbus AFB!!! So excited for him! He also got his helmet and he looks freaking stellar in it! I couldn’t be more excited and proud of him!! I’ll be out there in less than a month and he always says “Then you’re stuck with me forever!” lol my response to that is always that I wouldn’t use the term ‘stuck’ ;)
I’m definitely excited to get out there and start our lives together, but I don’t want to squander the time I have with my family and friends. This relationship has taught me so much about myself and has really shown me how independent that I can be. I finally know what it’s like to not ‘need’ someone, but rather, I want to be with him. It’s perfect.
Life with Tim is so perfect.
I don’t know, lol, they were always there.
Yesterday, Tim and I went to the park again because we bought a frisbee and wanted to play with it, so we spent a lot of time running around on the hills, (and away from hungry geese) and when we got back to base, we were tired and in the middle of a pretty legit nap when all of sudden, the fire alarm starts ringing, and Tim flies out of bed, runs over to the smoke detector in the room and starts taking the battery out and unplugging wires because he didn’t want the alarm to wake me up. Hahahaha
So I turn around to see Tim standing on a chair, fiddling with this thing, and I realize that the alarm is coming from outside too, so we go outside with a bunch of other people who want to know what in the world is happening. Security forces shows up, then the fire department and 4 guys in foil fire suits hop out with the air tanks on their backs and start walking towards the building. Meanwhile, we’re all standing there going, “Holy crap, what’s going on?! lol” Turns out, there wasn’t a fire, but one of the dryers in the laundry room area was smoking.
Shenanigans.
