tippingtimeless asked: Oh we know a lot of people that live at the Waverly! It's pretty nice. The amount of time Tony stays here all depends on what he gets on assignment night and when they ship him out for training on his next airframe, but I will be leaving at the beginning of June regardless.

Yesterday, Tim flew his first solo as an Air Force pilot (YAY!!) and did his pre-check ride as well.
And today…
He is supposed to be flying his final check ride (and final flight in Colorado) today, but thefreaking windsare gusting at like 50mph so, that’s a no-go.

I’m really freaking excited right now!
Tim’s first solo is on Monday!! He does his check ride on Monday as well, then he has one more flight on Tuesday, then it’s back to Mississippi!!!
Why is that so exciting?
For a few reasons:
1.) He will only be one time zone behind me.
2.) He will get to check to see where his name is on the list to move off base.
3.) We will get to...
No matter what happens, I’m always going to be there, waiting for him to come home to me.

Aw. I love this picture. I think Tim and I had been dating for like, 2 days when I took this. We were on our way to kayak the Santa Fe river (a.k.a Adventure #1) Those are totally my shades by the way. I made him wear them in the car because it was so sunny and his eyes are so blue. lol That was an awesome day.

I work at a scuba shop! It definitely keeps me super busy throughout the day!

My favorite thing about him being in the military is that he’s truly doing what he loves. If he’s doing what he wants and he’s happy, then I’m happy. That’s all I care about.
